Are orbeez guns / gel blasters safe?
Yes: the soft, water-filled gel balls burst on impact, far safer than airsoft or paintball. We still recommend eye protection and supervision for younger kids.
Do the gel balls hurt?
Barely: most players describe a light tap, much softer than airsoft BBs. With eye protection it's one of the most beginner-friendly blasters.
What is the best model for adults?
For power and realism, choose an electric model like the M4 or ARP9 (full-auto, long range, metal body). Beginners will prefer a compact pistol.
How far does it shoot?
Around 20–30 m (65–100 ft) depending on the model: rifles for range, pistols for close, fast-paced play.
How do I prepare the gel balls?
Soak the dry gel balls in water for 3–4 hours until they reach 7–8 mm, then load them. Every model ships with 10,000+ gel balls included.
Are the gel balls toxic or biodegradable?
They're non-toxic and biodegradable: a super-absorbent polymer that's safe in normal use (never swallow). They break down naturally after play.
